death_gone_madI had to go back and reread an old story post from Dec. 30th, 2013 just because I was listening to a mostly Phantogram playlist when You're Mine came on and reminded me of how manipulative I wrote Amascut back then.
Whenever I listen to Phantogram's stuff from their Voices or Three albums I have to resist putting all of it onto my Amascut playlist. They were going through some really dark times and their music was superficially poppy, but quite disturbing on the deep end for those paying attention to the lyrics. It would match Amascut too well, if it weren't for the modern references.
I should post an update to Amascut's playlist. The damn thing is LONG. 3 hours 15 minutes long.
